...also known as the best place on earth for South African poets to simply publish their poetry through a specially designed site that is completely user friendly!

The South African Society for Poetry like any other publication site aims to be family friendly and allow thousands to freely publish their poetry. However, as South Africa is a country that is totally democratic and always works within the margins of the Constitution, there are a few rules. The Poetry Society will publish all poetry the first time and will also review all the poetry published. All poetry will be published in all poetry competitions that the South African Internet Society for Poetry has agreements with. However, certain poetry competitions require an entry donation.

N.B. When publishing poetry please keep in mind that some people are sensitive to certain issues. Make sure that your poem does not contain any hate speech or fowl language.

If you have not yet become a member to the hippest site in South Africa simply register now, quickly, freely and simply.

Saisp.net Redesign

This is the new online site of the South African Internet Society for Poetry. With the redesign comes many new changes. The competitions will finally be held and many other features that saisp.net have been promising are also going to be fully functional. The competitions section is going to be run by Chandelle, who has volunteered her services. The Poetry Society would like to take this opportunity to ask people if they would like to be a part of this site and help moderate and judge competitions and poetry on this site.
